Festival of Sand Sculptures in Burgas 2022

Time runs grain of sand in the great clock of destiny and reaches the 12th edition of the Festival of Sand Sculptures in Burgas. Every year sculptors from Bulgaria and all over the world gather in the city by the sea to create their sand sculptures, which stay there all summer. Special sand that is rain-resistant is used for the sculptures. Every year there are different themes for the artists to make their interpretations.

The festival traditionally opens on 1 July, but the sculptors are there long before and prepare the works
